Rooklands Caravan & Camping Site is a level site of  1+ acres in size, on a 3 acre field. It has easy access from the A4229 Pyle Road, Porthcawl, with no narrow lanes to navigate. It has a hardstanding inside the 14' gateway and a substantial roadway going up the centre of the site, so suitable for larger caravans and motorhomes.

The Caravan & Camping site was set up in Spring 2017 initially as a basic site, with a CDP for emptying your chemical waste, and fresh water supplied in two taps along the hedgerow. We have plans for further additions like a shower and toilet to be added later (2019), and some picnic benches too. We plan to add to the site and make improvements as we go along, so please bear with us while this is being completed. Suggestions for improvement would be very welcome as we would like to make this site welcoming and comfortable for all our guests.

The site has far reaching views of the surrounding countryside and the field the site is positioned on has a variety of flora and fauna and is often full of various wild flowers in summer.

Horses and ponies graze in the adjoining field at       different times throughout the year and wild

rabbits and birds can often be seen at dusk and sunrise, as well as a variety of different

species of butterflies etc.

*PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HAVE EHU*

*WE DO NOT HAVE SEASONAL PITCHES OR STORAGE*

Toilets and showers will be added shortly (2019)

You can also get a quality evening meal in the restaurant at the Rose & Crown Inn, or The Grove golf club which is just under 1 mile away on Pyle Road A4229

There are various take-aways in the locality, some of whom will deliver.. and they are all highly recommended, or you could just pop up to the quaint Nottage village and visit it's 3 Pubs/Inns, or sit on the little village green just outside and have a quiet drink sitting in the sun!
